I'm Ankit Sharma, an embedded systems engineer in Kanpur with more than ten years across firmware, embedded hardware and industrial electronics. I hold an M.Sc. in Embedded Systems from Technische Universität Chemnitz, Germany, and a B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
I'm drawn to research and development and to building things new enough to be worth patenting. I take on a small number of projects at a time, so each gets proper attention and there is room left for research and for family.
I speak English and Hindi, and have working German at A2 level.

Jan 2026 to present. Embedded systems and prototypes at the National Centre for Flexible Electronics: hardware integration, firmware, sensing and system testing.

2021 to 2025. Led technical and production work for industrial clients, from electrical and control-system design to fabrication, commissioning and field deployment.
